Botnia's Svir Timber sawmill is located in Russia, Leningrad region in the city of Podporozhye. The Russian sawmill OOO Svir Timber, is wholly-owned subsidiary by Oy Metsä-Botnia Ab. The sawmill was completed at the turn of the year 2005-2006. The cost of the investment was roughly EUR 55 million. Measured by its production capacity, the sawmill is medium-sized.
